@paul Seems to me that a company that's paid to stop data leaks actually has the opposite interest, since the more prominent leaks are and the more preople are afraid of them, the more they'll be willing to pay to try to prevent those leaks.

But the standard is the *appearance* of a conflict, not proof of one, and it doesn't matter which direction it goes. She should recuse herself. But I don't think you can conclude it makes her more likely to extradite.
